Northlands Primary School

Northlands Primary School is situated in Durban North and serves learners from three-year olds in Grade 000 in the Pre Primary, through the Junior Primary phase, finishing with Grade 7 in the Senior Primary section - an exciting 10 - year journey of learning, playing and personal growth.

FAMILY VALUES You are most welcome to visit our “family” school where you will experience the warm and friendly atmosphere of which we are so proud. Our professional staff members in all areas are committed to caring for the children on a daily basis, from the youngest to the oldest, with the extended programme including After Care and Homework Centre. We are dedicated to maintaining our levels of excellence in the widest range of academic, cultural and extra mural activities. Our Northlands “family” firmly believes in the happiness of each member - child, parent and staff - and we constantly emphasise and practise positive behaviour and reinforcement. This is clearly reflected in our “Buddies”, “Service Leaders” and community outreach initiatives.
EXCELLENT FACILITIES Visit us to experience how blessed we are with classroom and specialist learning areas which are continuously being upgraded and developed to meet the present and future needs of education. This flows through to all our learners in all three phases enjoying the 10-lane heated swimming pool, two full-size cricket and rugby fields, tennis and netball courts, as well as the use of an astro-turf hockey field. We also include activities such as music, choir, band, art and drama, dance, public speaking, chess and computer clubs, so that all learners can be catered for and become involved through active participation.
INVITATION Please contact our Admissions Secretary for further information. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
